Please note that all posts in this thread without links to what needs to be modified will be ignored.

Also please be aware of the fact that the second coming of Songmeanings.net has only recently been set into motion (Saturday Nov 1 2008) and that the administrators and moderators are facing a lot of problems with the new site at the moment.  We probably won't be able to handle whatever problem you may have immediately, but if you and are courteous and patient we promise to get around to you sooner or later.

A more professional modification of this thread with a more specific set of rules and guidelines (like the original one, for those who were here for the original songmeanings.net) should be coming soon.

Victor Jara - Preguntitas Sobre Dios

I submitted this song before the site upgrade. I see it has been deleted.

I assumed this was because i hadn't mentioned that it was a cover, and today tried to submit the song again. I got this message: "A song by this title already exists for this artist. Please try again."

The song doesn't seem to be on the site, or at least is not picked up by Google.

Is this a bug, or can deleted songs not be resubmitted? Perhaps the deleted entry could be removed from the artist history to allow me to resubmit the song.

Hey, yeah, that "song already submitted" problem is a glitch, one that I'm not really sure how to explain. I'm not equipped to handle it myself, so you should probably PM one of the admins about it. It's nothing against your account though, it's been happening to quite a few people seemingly at random.
