For many of the songs I've come across, the artist(s) have published lyrics either on their official websites or via links on those websites to Lyrics Wiki pages. For such bands--Animal Collective is an example--I'd suggest a forum area just to allow people to post links to such pages. After verification, correcting those lyrics with a simple cut and paste would go a long way toward making this site an even better forum for people to both find accurate lyrics to their favorite songs as well as review other users' interpretations of them.
