I used to suspect ad software on my computer

but I changed computers

so I think perhaps someone is routing through my connection at home

Adaware is a pretty decent free program (I use it) to clean out the hidden nasties :) Incase you didn't know or are worried about spyware.

I am suspicious of the data being minipulated before it reaches me

Yeah Holck, i've had that problem too;
with the data manipulation.

There's some dangerous people out there.

Luckily there's an easy solution: you just neeed to wear a cap of aluminium foil on your head.
That stops the bounders from being able to hack into your signals.
