one thing i would like to suggest. what about limiting username length when you register? i've noticed quite a few times that user names will go beyond the stats box and interfere with the site.

OK, just on the old chance that this is fairly easy to implement; would it be possible to make the Go button in the search frame right-clickable? So that we can "Open in New Tab". I usually find that i want to keep my current page when i'm searching.

If you just want a simple search option you can use without actually being on the site, it's pretty easy to do yourself. Just go to the main page, select from the dropdown menu what kind of search you want, right click in the text field and "Add a keyword for this search".

I'm using Opera, but the process is pretty much the same, I think. I have artist search bound to 'sa' and title search to 'st' - after making the keyword, you can just type "sa metallica" from any page to get the same result you would if you'd typed it in properly.

I'd really like it if the actual search process was revamped. I used to be able to go straight from a search to the artist or song page if it was the only result for the search term, but now I get the search result page... which, of course, only has one result anyway.

Also, maybe it's just me, but the actual sorting on the results page for terms that return lots of pages seems to have changed. Is it sorted by popularity now? Seems to be more annoying to find the page I wanted, but maybe that's just because nobody else listens to the bands I like. :(

I'm not sure if this feature is here on these forums or not, but so far I haven't been able to figure it out.

I would like to be able to get notifications of when someone else posts their interpretation or comment on song boards I have also commented on. Thanks!

Also it would be nice to have the option to edit or delete any posts you make. For some reason I recently made a post on "whale song" by Modest Mouse but it was strangely repeated four times on the same page..I would like to delete the extra 3 but I can't. It would probably be too much to have a (bunch) of moderators for all these songs to make sure that doesn't happen. Thank you!

They should have a section for each artist on "Artist Name Meaning" or "Band Name Meaning" or something similar. Somewhere where people can leave comments and discuss the meaning of the artists name or where they got it from, similar to discussing the meaning of songs.

Also an "Album Name Meaning" could be good as well. To discuss where they got the name of the album from or what it means.

Can't find anything similar already on the site :)
