Or if you can't seem to get that Washington politics and the enjoyment of music do NOT go hand-in-hand, than offer a counter to the Obama crap you're attempting to spoodfeed often young, idealistic, clueless people. Is it just for the money you're making or do you to believe in forcing your views on others??? Congrats then. You've joined the likes of our yellow press...the self-declared social conscience of our country that doesn't believe in just presenting ALL the facts and allowing US to be bright enough to come to our own conclusions. Do I sound angry? Yup. And when you've ruined a site by putting political SHIT on it, I'm not going to remain silent.

I have no political affiliation. They both suck.

Seriously, you don't mind adverts telling you to buy some crap you don't need and can't afford, but when they're encouraging you to vote in an election to decide the direction your country is headed you whine about it?
Also, if you think either Obama or Romney are responsible for the economic downturn, you need to read more.

Nice to see Rush Limbaugh has a healthy interest in music

I don't see any ads at all, thanks to a handy new extension I installed on my mac last night. It even offered to replace the ads with kittehs, but that part wasn't free :) It's like a whole new internet--kind of like...when you drive into a neighborhood that has buried the power lines. You don't notice how nice everything looks without the poles and wires until they are all gone out of sight...so nice...

While you have the right to do this, please understand that it costs us a lot of money to operate this site. Every time you view a lyric, we pay a good chunk of our ad revenue to the artist. What's left after that payout goes to server costs and maintenance.

Don't worry, it is just a trial :) I can't pay a subscription for such an aesthetic triviality. The kittehs were tempting, though...
I would rather donate to this site anyway!

I am curious about the "political" issue being addressed. As an experiment, I turned on my ad block for this site, I can see NOTHING regarding politics. So, my thinking is, are we bitching about the ad's only? Ad's we don't control?
Just curious if this thread needs to be locked, like several others, for being done... before the snarky comments really start rolling in.
