This band is so *clear* and then all of a sudden not. This needs a lot of work. Here's what I have so far:
Now the money that she made
Tell you the truth never took her so far
And all those cars that she loved
Never racked miles up on odometers
And all those musclemen she touched
Were never there on the morning after
And down the catwalk she danced
While all her friends were calling after
Wah-oooh (Is this really the chorus?)
Yeah, (missing lyric, sounds like 'bitch could afford') didn't do much to cure her boredom
And all the men who took her trust were quick to (missing lyrics, sounds like 'quick to call up all their loves for her', but that makes no sense in the context of this song if these men 'took her trust' and previously 'were never there on the morning after')
And the voice she would project would make her seem so self-assured
And all the stories she made (missing lyric, sounds like 'was rooted in faith, in glory at the bottom')
Wah-ooh (again, is this it?)
Yeah, the money that she made
Tell you the truth never took her so far
And all those cars that she loved
Never racked miles up on odometers
And the (missing lyric, possibly 'princess' or 'person') that they thought you were
Had become so very (missing lyric, possibly, probably, 'hard')
And the stereo that played (the/her/a/that?) song
Was (missing lyrics, have literally no idea, the word 'bass' is possibly in there somewhere)
Wah-ooh (?)
These lyrics have been driving me bananas since this song came out. If someone could help me figure it out so I can post it, that would be much appreciated.

This is all I could figure out.
I hope it helps.
Thanks! That did help me, particularly that last verse ("cold chords" in particular.) I listened to the song a few more times and made some more changes and have now submitted it. Thanks again for the help!
