I got a new computer... well, laptop, but same difference. I'm just happy to have a new one because I had the same one for like SEVEN YEARS. My parents bought me my very first computer when I was really young (like 4th or 5th grade) and I had the same type of computer all the way through half my senior year! It feels so nice to have a new one, but I am going to miss my old one. I feel bad that I'm abandoning it, but fuck it. Machines are just that. Plus, now I can play games and watch videos in 1080p with the added benefit of mobility.

And yeah, that's all I got. The fucker was expensive. Oh, girlfriend got me some cookies 'n' cream chocolates, a nice sweater, and a book. I got her this board game she wanted. But the real gift from her will come tomorrow...

Wink

Mine was more a cross between the bizarre and the traumatic, like a David Lynch film minus the ominous bass drones. Although the effect would have been complete if they had allowed me to play Oneohtrix Point Never. My favourite gifts: a battery operated portable cd player and "Yoddling: the Classics." Great. I have become a mobile aural assault unit. Not only are my parents unaware of the miraculous leaps music technology has taken over the past couple of decades (I own two mp3 players, one assorted albums 1970-1989, the other 1990-2009), they also fail to realise that it is impossible to stand more than, say, 2 metres away from a stereo in my appartment. Every year I repeat the same mantra to no effect: don't buy me books because I won't read them, don't buy me cds because I won't listen to them, don't buy me clothes because I won't wear them. But we are your parents. We gave you life and we will continue to give you what you do not want.

That was more a deliberate homage to Kanye and Jay-Z playing "Niggas in Paris" multiple times as an encore rather than the result of sucky internets. I think I might post it again. Such a tight post. Someone should remix that motherfucker.

Go Buggie!

I finally got a new ipod. Its a 160gb Classic and I like it more than the touch that I used to have. Other than that I just got a bunch of clothes, but I didn't ask for anything except for a new mp3 player.

Is 160gb really necessary? I mean, damn, even if you have an incredibly varied taste in music and have had the time/passion to develop each and every musical interest, I don't see why you couldn't just compress your music to fit in a maximum of 50 gigs or so. Then again, I have a hard time getting into new music and prefer to stick to songs I know I already like. I prefer the immersive enjoyment of a familiar song that I understand well than the rush of listening to a bunch of new stuff that is mostly love or hate.

aside from all that bullshit, how's college going man?

You can put movies and videos and shit on them too. I dunno why you would wanna watch something on a Classic's screen though, I hate watching stuff on my ipod touch screen, but yeah, I think thats why its so big?

I only asked for an 80gb, but my parent's found a 160 on sale. I only have about 30gb's of music and then about another 30 of movies and tv shows.

College didn't go well for me. I had to withdraw because I got really, really sick and I can't go back because its too expensive. I'm starting some online classes in January and going to University of Georgia in August since I can go for almost free.

I got a sweater from my grandmother. I don't know why. It's like, 80 degrees outside and we live in Florida. And then my dad got me socks. -.-

The only present I really liked was the Walking Dead Season 1 Box Set, which pretty much made up for every sucky and semi-sucky present I got. Damn you people and your fancy gbs.

I hope everyone had a happy Christmas. Mine was actually very nice. It was my niece's first one, so she was pretty much the highlight.

Yeah nieces/nephews are very good at that. I didn't get my nephew anything. Maybe I'll buy him Yellow Submarine next year.

I know right! The cliffhanger in the mid-season finale was awesome and frightening and EPIC as hell.

It's my favorite show on television right now.

You can get a 500gb external for ~$50?  Probably $35 if you find a good pawn shop.  You don't use that bike anyway Tongue out

it's your fault buggie. if you posted more than once a month, the most recent posts wouldn't always be spammers or hit and runs.
