I submitted some songs about a month ago, but no lyrics showed up for a few weeks. And now when i go to those songs it says "We are not authorized to display these lyrics." I'm just wondering what that means?

Usually this means there is a publisher block on displaying the lyrics.  They (record label/publisher/lyric copyright owner) do not want their lyrics displayed.

Wondering the same thing myself. This is really, really annoying because the same thing happened to me and it took me forever to type up the lyrics.

This whole copyright thing is definitely overdone. I can sort of understand not wanting people to be able to easily copy and paste lyrics, but not allowing people to see them at all is ridiculous. The whole point of a lyric site is for lyrics, not just a list of artists and titles. If people want to make money off of whatever they can think of, that's fine, but at least don't inconvienence the general public about pointless and miniscule things./rant ended (bleh copyright issues piss me off!!!!)

My favorite thus far was that I saw that the lyrics for "Stream of Consciousness" by Dream Theater had its lyrics copyrighted. One issue: "Stream of Consciousness" is an instrumental song.
