Haven't had a drink in...about a month or so. Last thing I had was vodka. I don't have a problem with alcohol, I just don't have an overwhelming desire to have a drink every night or week.
live in Australia. you get to drink every day at 5 in the afternoon and nobody seems to have a problem with it. Don't they do that in America?

I don't really drink much, but a couple days ago I had a large cup of Jack and Coke and it was mainly Jack. I'm one of those people that can take it or leave it. If other people are drinking then I'll take part, but I never want to go get drunk.
I went on a kayaking trip today. It was only 7-8mile trip, but we got caught up in a thunderstorm. I loved it. This might be my new addiction.

There's a popular saying here, and probably everywhere else, that it's always five o'clock somewhere. I used it often when starting on my second bottle of wine at noon.
But (not surprisingly) you misread and/or misunderstood Pinto's post; he wasn't saying he wasn't much of a drinker because others have a problem with it, but because he doesn't have much of a desire. Better luck next time, teddybrrr.

Oh okay. Even a year ago it was better than it is now. I'm hoping it'll pick back up and be happy and funny once again.

Went to the midnight session of Harry Potter last night. It was amazing. But now Im really sad coz its all over. It sounds lame and nerdy, but I remember waiting in line at the bookshop for the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th books, and taking the day off school to read them all. And for my 10th birthday every single present I got had something to do with Harry Potter.
It was kind of annoying though coz there were chicks at the front of the cinema who kept cheering and clapping when nothing cheerable was happening. Like when Neville nearly fell off the bridge. IF YOU READ THE BOOK YOU WOULD KNOW HE DOESNT DIE SO WHY CHEER?! And they ruined the best line of the movie coz they were cheering before she even said it.
That and the chick behind me was sobbing the whole movie. Like, uncontrollably sobbing, even when nothing sad was happening. And when they showed Fred, Lupin and Tonks in the great hall she started making this weird shreiking noise and started crying louder. It was weird.
Please tell me that you went dressed as Harry Potter, carrying a little wand, screaming.."Expecto..Patronum!"
I had a hat and a sword :P
There was someone dressed as Hedwig, and it took us so long to figure out what she was dressed as. She looked like the white witch from Narnia. It wasnt until she flapped her arms and hooted that we figured it out. Hedwig died in the last movie anyway!
