Hunter City Madness is a five man rock influenced metal core band from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The like-minded ideas of these young men took shape and combined to form a hellish tribute to the eternal outlaw, the rebel and the renegade. Armed to the teeth with a ferocious musical approach and a take-no-prisoners attitude Hunter City Madness will grip you tight, kick your ass to next Sunday and then buy you a beer afterwards. With blistering fury, they take the stage and pull-no-punches. They leave their blood and sweat on the floor and when the smoke clears and the amplifier’s dissident tones recede; you will know that you have just experienced Hunter City Madness. Drawing inspiration from a veritable melting pot of artistic influences including southern rock, metal, punk and classic rock, these fun-loving party animals take their love for the music they create and spread it like a wildfire for all to feel the burn. Since the start of the band in the spring of 2009 – HCM has played over twenty shows all over Ontario and Quebec with notable bands. In the year that they have been together, they've managed to play two cross Ontario tours in 2009 and 2010, win two college battle of the bands, obtain media coverage from numerous sources including HardTimes.ca, music in regular rotation on various radio stations, gain endorsements from Shred Clothing, and record a seven song EP “See You in Hell”. After a year and a half of writing, recording, touring, and building up a solid fan base, HCM is gearing up to take the country by storm with their wild antics and furious music with the release of their debut EP - "See You In Hell". These guys bring the party to the stage every time and aim to make sure everyone in the crowd is having a blast.

fucked up society. coming out of california eliott lindamood wanted to make noise. so he went around la to find people for a project and even that's not true. he just sat and thought about it and started up a blog. enter zach a weird punk from canada. he discovered elliott's blog through i'm guessing a link on the now famous kbd records website. well they talked through email and finally elliott got off his overly fat ass and recorded drums and screams. he sent it to that weird guy zach (if you're reading this then sorry if your offended) and he put guitar on it. what came out is noise. pure noise. the recorder is shit, i (i mean he) couldn't play drums, he couldn't sing, and he deffinatly couldn't sing wile playing drums. oh fuck i'm breaking the thirdperson thing. it was wild and chaotic. it's probably the shortest demo in existence i just want to record something. how do i describe our sound? two pissed off kids who love 80s hardcore but can't even play that good (i'm speaking for myself on that one) so we just fuck shit up with our sonic awesomeness. it's not like that hunter city madness guy. we smash you, break your every bone, but we don't buy you a beer after we're done. we (or at least i) get wasted and drunkinly piss on your corpse because i was too drunk and uncaring to take you to the hospital. we can't play live so we put it all into recording. go to hardcorepunkreviews.blogspot.com">hardcorepunkreviews.blogspot.com where you can down the demo for free cause i don't believe in charging you for this shit. and at my site elliott-wwwelliottsucksblogspotcom.blotspot.com">elliott-wwwelliottsucksblogspotcom.blotspot.com you can read my review of this without all this selfindulgent ego inflating bullshit. i'm gonna be killed for this band. check out shit out or you will be damned forever! plus i'll personally call you very mean and be pad. okay wanking over.

I write and record as an Albertan solo project, entitled "New Orleans Swim Team". It's spoken word with chamber instrumentation (violins, trumpets, euphonium, glockenspeil, etc), and is a form of expression I've come to find meaningful.
