Hey all,

We're proud to announce that we just launced a mobile version of SongMeanings.  Improvements will be continually made to this version for added features, design, etc.  SongMeanings Mobile will be an ongoing beta version.

The mobile version's address is as follows.  We'll be making changes soon so that if you go to songmeanings.net on your mobile device, it'll automatically forward you to the mobile version.

m.songmeanings.net/">m.songmeanings.net/

Cheers and enjoy,

Mike

Ah, this promises to be useful.

Oh wow, that's really good. Good for slow pc connections too.

I'm glad you made that point, because i found these great sites: Songmeanings.net and M.Songmeanings.net are great places to meet up with your classmates and meet interesting new friends! Who knows, maybe you'll find a soulmate!

Yay! I'm so happy you guys did this! The normal site has been a little bit of a pain to use on my phone. Omg, this makes my day. May I suggest in addition to the iPhone app, and Android app? I'd love to have one once I can finally get my new phone, hahah.

I use bolt browser on my blackberry and I can login and post.

Hey, this is gonna sound crazy, but you know what would be cool, if you had an RSS feed for the forum.

You're using the full website, right? Not the m.songmeaning.net mobile site?

What would the feed include?

I don't know the mechanics of making such a thing, but what would be useful to me would be the last 10 comments to the general and music forum; and maybe the last few song comments. Ithink all that is involved is porting what you want to feed into xml. Then you could put that nifty rss icon somewhere. The advantages of having an rss feed is that it's a lot more efficiant to keep up with new posts by reading it in an rss reader (on a phone for example).

This is great.

It would be cool if the very first page on m.songmeanings.net had an Artist search field and Track search field on top of each other or something, instead of having to hit a few links till you are actually able to search.

Like it would be ultra efficient if it was m.songmeanings.net > *search*

not m.songmeanings.net > Search > Artists > *search*

Ya know? Just my thinking. Really love it though.

All these services are great but I think some time should be given to tightening up existing

areas in SM that cause many forum posts/requests, wasting everyone's time. IMHO

wait so if u want the ringtone for a song nd u click that button that says "ringtone for watever" does it cost money if u sign up for it?

#24 by azkm mod trusted 3 years ago

don't click on that!

the site you go to probably won't have the ringtone for that song. it's just an advert. it's mike and brian's way of showing they care.

EDIT: well you can try it if you really want a particular song for your ringtone and want to support SM. But don't be surprised if they don't have the song. And yes, you'll almost certainly have to pay for it somehow.
