Submissions

SongMeanings is a respectable community website and we'd like to keep it that way. Please show respect and courtesy when posting to any one of our user-content areas. This includes, but is not limited to, lyrics, comments, and forum posts.

It is also imperative that you obey the law when posting.

Any area on SongMeanings where users submit content (lyrics, comments, artists, forum posts, etc.) can and will be subjected to scrutiny by our staff.

Submitted content can be republished in other areas of work, including sites and media outside of SongMeanings, such as Twitter, books, etc.

Be forewarned that racist/hateful comments and illegal material (pornography, pirated software, cracks, etc.) will be deleted at first notice by our staff. If you are thinking about posting something like this or that is hateful to others, don't waste your time typing it--it will be deleted.

Responsibility

SongMeanings is a user-created site. Our staff makes every reasonable attempt to remove objectionable content but it is still possible that content lacking in moral standards is displayed on SongMeanings. We are not responsible for submissions made by our users or staff.

Lost Submissions

SongMeanings is not responsible for submitted content that is lost. This includes, but is not limited to, lyrics, comments, and forum posts.

All lyrics are copyrighted by their respective owners. SongMeanings does not claim ownership to any lyrics, nor do we vouch for their authenticity. Essentially, all lyrics posted are from the submitter interpreting the song's lyrics and are by no way accurate and legit. We only display them for research purposes.

The SongMeanings name, colors, logo, and code are the property of SongMeanings and may not be used without consent.
