The Strangelights  are bringing their brand of California psychedelic rock fused with a Post-Punk/New Wave sensibility to a galaxy near you… The quartet formed in 2008 and includes lead singer and keyboardist Beau Phillips, vocals and guitars by Leland Vandermulen, bass by Michael Harris and drums and by Matty Goss. Some of their most downloaded jams include "Pretty Girls In White," a hypnotic prog rocker that somehow landed in an 80's new wave club like the Hacienda in Manchester, UK, "The Wanderer" a Steely Dan influenced rocker, their ska-disco marriage of jangle rock in "Free In The Night" and look for the driving and spooky "Head Down The Road" - which has dazzled audiences at Strangelight shows, to be the first single from their upcoming EP. The Strangelights debut album was recorded from 2009 to 2010 in English Hills, CA and produced and engineered by Rick Lucas and The Strangelights. They recorded a 3 song EP during the summer of 2012 and are gearing up to launch the release of both projects as well their homepage www.thestrangelights.com.
